Psychologist

Ms Caroline Greaves

BSc(Psych/Zool) MSc(Psych)

Caroline is an AHPRA registered psychologist and AHPRA approved psychologist supervisor. She has a broad range of experience as a psychologist spanning 30 years and has been practising in Australia since 2001. Caroline has been fortunate to work in settings as diverse as schools, community organisations, universities and the military. As a Reserve member of the Australian Defence Force for 21 years, Caroline has deployed numerous times in support of operations to Iraq and Afghanistan. She has worked closely with service personnel and commanders in a variety of challenging and unique circumstances, and, most recently, with the Australian Defence Cooperation Program in Timor-Leste. Between 2004 and 2020, Caroline was also the Director of Counselling Services for the largest independent school in Australia.

 Caroline works with young people and adults and utilises evidence-based therapies to cater to the individual needs of clients. Her preferred treatment approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), clinical hypnosis and interventions founded in Positive Psychology. She shares a special interest and connection with those clients in the armed forces, first responder and veteran groups. Caroline prefers to approach the therapeutic relationship with respect, good humour and a desire to engage with the client ‘where they’re at’.
